About the project
The Cycling for Inclusion and Empowerment (CYCLE-IN) project aims to increase social inclusion, physical well-being, and empowerment of visually impaired youth through inclusive tandem cycling activities while strengthening the capacity of youth workers to implement accessible outdoor education programs. The project’s objectives and outcomes align directly with the horizontal priority of Inclusion and Diversity by ensuring that visually impaired/blind youth and professionals working with them have equal access to outdoor activities, sports, and mobility opportunities.
In addition to promoting inclusion and diversity, the project also aligns with the priority of increasing the quality, innovation, and recognition of youth work by equipping youth workers with specialized competencies in inclusive outdoor education.
This project is co-financed by the European Union.
